Merry Christmas to ME!

I got the best surprise this Christmas from my hubby — a Canon EOS 7D camera. I have currently been shooting with the Canon Rebel xTi which I bought almost 5 years ago. It’s been a great camera, but it was time to upgrade. On my Christmas wish list from all of our family was money to go towards a new camera. Little did I know the hubs was going to outright buy it for me! I was beyond excited.

The bells and whistles are a bit different from the Canon Rebel xTi so I have been hitting the books (AKA user’s manual) and acquainting myself with my new best friend. It am so eager to get shooting with this thing!

  Yes there are several things I was looking at with the money. I was thinking about either a speedlight flash, a new back drop or a large reflector. I’m shopping around right now trying to figure out what I want.
